Spring show and graduation

In May, the boys had their spring show at school and Caleb graduated from pre-school. Their theme was "Commotion in the Ocean." Trevor's class wore adorable sailor hats with their names on them. Trevor did great with all the singing and motions. He doesn't seem to mind getting up in front of people and performing. This is a little blurry, but the best close up I could get of Trevor walking to the stage in his hat.

Caleb's class wore sunglasses and sang more difficult songs. Caleb is a little shy and would sing all the songs but crossed his arms a lot when he was supposed to be doing hand motions.

After the show...can you tell Trevor didn't take a nap that day?

Caleb at graduation with one of his teachers (Mrs. Carrie). He said he wanted to be an emergancy doctor...a step up from last year when he said he wanted to be a pirate and a swimmer!

Caleb graduating! Kindergarten here we come.

The kids sang some special songs. Of course, I cried.

Caleb with Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Carrie. The were both amazing teachers! It will be hard for anyone to top them.

I can't believe my little boy is starting school in less than three weeks. I know he is so ready, and I am excited for him to make new friends and learn new things. I am sad because he has grown up so fast! He is such a big, bright, athletic, funny, and sweet little boy. I know he will do great this year!

Trevor's third birthday

Happy third birthday my sweet boy! It is hard to believe my baby Trevor is not really a baby anymore. You are starting to get braver and more daring as you get older. You still like to stick by my side if you are unsure of something, and you still like for mommy and daddy to hold you, but you are definitely growing and changing. Your voice is so sweet! It always has been, and everyone always loves to hear you talk. You are silly, and a bit mischievious! When you pray you always say, "Dear God, for this day...and Jesus say, amen." You like to laugh and are outgoing at church and school. Caleb is your best friend and/or your worst enemy. You love to interact with Luke and make him smile. I just love and adore you. I thank God for my sweet Trevor! As you can see, Trevor had an awesome birthday. He had a petting zoo and all of our friends and some family were able to come and celebrate. It really was like a zoo with all the people here! The animals were adorable...all babies. The kids got to feed the animals with food and bottles, ride a pony, and handle and squish the poor little things until I thought their eyes might pop out! We were so tired after the party, we just hung out and played with a few new toys. Thanks for everyone who came and made this day so special for Trevor!

Colorado

Back in late April, we drove to Colorado to visit our very good friends Rhett and Rebecca and their two little boys Cooper and Fielder. The drive actually wasn't so bad, and well worth it to see our friends. The weather was a little crazy while we there it rained, snowed, and then got really hot! Here Michael is with Trevor walking in front of Rhett and Rebecca's house. You can see my Jeep Commander that Michael got me for my birthday in the background! We played in their awesome back yard when the weather was nice.

The three older boys would watch t.v. together before going to bed each night.

Fielder has a jeep that Caleb and Trevor loved playing in!

We went for a short hike with all the kiddos at a beautiful park. Trevor didn't make it far so we walked back to the playground to play while Luke slept in his sling.

This is the amazing view heading up the hiking trail.

Luke and Trevor relaxing after dinner one night.

This was the day it snowed. It melted by lunch time, but the boys had fun while it lasted. Fielder and Caleb having a blast.

At the Denver Children's Museum. It was a very neat museum and the kids loved it.

This was in the infant part...Luke loved all the stimulation.

The boys took turn checking each other out at the store.

We were "underground" and Caleb had an animal costume on.

Trevor dressed up as a "rabbit??"
We had a great time. We didn't go crazy doing a whole lot because we have too many kids! Rhett and Rebecca were kind enough to watch all five boys while we went out on our own. Thank you so much Wells' family for hosting us and making our first family trip with all three boys so special!
