On August 29th we had to say goodbye to our house. We FINALLY sold it after having it on the market for 5 months! We weren't in a big hurry to sell it, but after having to constantly leave the house (to show it) with two small children I was more than ready to be done with it. Not only did we have to leave our house, but we had a fish tank full of fish, a frog, and a crab that had to find a new home as well. We took all of our little friends to our favorite park and let them go in the pond. Below, Caleb looks so happy to take them to the pond, but as we were leaving he started missing his little friends immediately. There were plenty of tears, but after explaining how lucky his friends were to have a new home he felt better.
Caleb was getting ready to say goodbye.
Our little friends.
The last farewell.
I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but Caleb and Trevor LOVED these little creatures. They would stare at the fish tank every afternoon for 30 minutes or so and just watch the fish swim and stare at the frog jumping around. They helped feed them and take care of them. We will miss them and our house very much.
I wanted to get a picture of us leaving the house, but forgot in the midst of all the moving! Hopefully, the new owners won't mind if we go by one day for a photo op. We made many memories on Judy Court, and we will treasure it as our first family home. We are currently living with Mike and Libby. They have been such a blessing to us, and I hope they know how much we appreciate them. We are looking forward to finding our next house and making it a home.
