Caleb's spring show and graduation

In early May, Caleb graduated from pre-school. He is ready for Kindergarten according to all of his teachers. We decided to wait until the fall of 2009 to put Caleb into Kindergarten since he just turned 5 on July 1st. Although we believe he would do great if he started this school year, we don't think it will hurt to allow him one more year to grow and have fun before he begins school full-time. We are so proud of Caleb. Of course, watching him walk across the stage for the first time brought tears to my eyes. Seeing all the pictures from the year also made me feel such joy at how happy he was at his school. Mike and i know we are so lucky to have such wonderul boys!Grandma, Uncle Adam, and cousin Ava all came out to watch our graduate.
Caleb's good friend Blake. They were the two kiddos in their class that wore glasses. They are so cute! We found out last month that Caleb doesn't have to wear his glasses anymore. That is great news for Mike and I since we couldn't seem to remember them anyway!

My little graduate. He said he want to be a swimmer and a pirate when he grows up. Of course, that was not at all what we pictured him saying!

Before they graduated they sang some songs and put on a little show for the parents. It was adorable and really brought on the tears for me. Caleb seemed so grown up!

This was from Caleb's spring show. They all sang songs and danced.

Singing his heart out.

Happy 2nd Birthday Trevor!

Trevor had a wonderful birthday celebration. Friends and family came to a local park on May 3rd for his party in the park. We enjoyed hot dogs, cake, and fun games. It was cold and windy, but we still managed to have a good time. We went with a monkey theme since Trevor is our "little monkey" due to his obsession with bananas (manas). Trevor opened his gifts and was immediately ready for a three hour nap!
Here is Grandma desperately trying to get Trevor to blow out his candle before the wind blew it out for him. All the kiddos waiting for their cake.
Aunt Sarah pushing the birthday around in his car.

A gift from Miss Debby. A nap map for his upcoming mother's day out program in the fall. He loved all the animals on it.

The bubble blower was a hit. Here is Caleb standing among the many bubbles.

Trevor sharing his chips with his good friend Baylie.
Birthday boy in his hat. I just love to torture the kids with these things!

Trevor with his new Elmo from Grandma and Grandpa. He just loves playing with babies right now, and I felt like Elmo was the most appropriate "baby" for a little boy to have.

This was the morning of Trevor's actual birthday (May 16th). Daddy made him his favorite--pancakes. Yummy!

This was later that day at Miss Debby's. We had pizza and a tiny cookie cake. Look how much Trevor loves the hat Miss Debby made. He is wearing it like a champ! He didn't even want to take it off later for his nap. It took him a minute, but he dug right into the icing just like his first birthday!

Trevor is so nice to share some of his icing with big brother Caleb (or Caca as Trevor calls him). When you ask Trevor what his name is, he lovingly says, "Treasure." Caleb got the short end of the stick on that one.

Caleb took this lovely picture of mommy and T-rev.

Later that day at the local indoor pool. Trevor wasn't feeling so well (those two year molars are doing a job on him).

Trevor got to open his gifts from mommy and daddy. Another Elmo toy that play a lot of music and another toy that he can push around and make a lot of noise with.

Trevor getting very sleepy on his birthday. His shirt said, "It's this little monkey's 2nd birthday."

Trevor chowing down at our favorite local Mexican food restaurand--Baja (Trevor calls it baba-aha). Caleb loves the "squishy cheese."

Trevor,
You are an amazing child . You have a great sweetness about you, but an even bigger mischievious side. Your dad and I only hope to show you as much love as two parents can. Your big brother Caleb loves you and often refers to you as his best friend. You two can be awesome with each other. You are talking up a storm. You've actually been talking in full sentences for months now. You are full of energy, but you are very cautious so you stick close to my side. You are picky, but you love to eat (especially in the morning--you never get full). You are my baby that is growing up way too fast. I love you more than words can say.
Mommy

At the zoo

Over my spring break I took the boys to the zoo with the rest of the gang from Miss Debby's. It was the week the boys weren't feeling so well, but we just had to get out of the house! We had fun until Trevor reached the point of exhaustion. He screamed the entire way to the car, but fell asleep before we were out of the parking lot!
Caleb says hello to the elephants.

Trevor says hi (just like big brother).

This was back in February, but I had to throw it in. Trevor was contemplating whether or not to throw his very last pacifier away.

Bye, bye pacifier! He said goodbye to the paci on Valentines day. I am relieved that I won't have a three year old with a binky! He was so attached, but he still has his "b" (his blanket).

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter! I finally got a chance to sit down and get going on a new blog. Sorry to anyone who checks this and wondered if I was ever going to blog again. We all had a wonderful Easter Sunday with the Meierhofer clan. We made our annual trip to Walnut Hill (Mike and Libby's church) for service and a big egg hunt. It was a fun family time. The boys got way too much candy and wore themselves out! Caleb was so sweet helping Trevor. Of course, this was after he filled his basket full! Caleb paused for one second to take a picture.
Trevor was already on the go!

Don't you just love matching outfits??

They really do love each other(most of the time)!

Trevor getting sleepy!

Grandpa sure loves his grandkids.

Sweet Elizabeth (our youngest neice).

Caleb and cousin Ava Grace. They love each other so much. Ava wanted Caleb to go home with her, and was not too happy when we had to say no. They were talking about getting married, but have gotten over that. I was relieved until Caleb asked for a baby sister so he could marry her! I tried to explain that wasn't a good idea, but he tried to convince me otherwise!
A lot has been going on at the Meierhofer house. I am going to try to post some pics. of the last couple of months to recap. Meierhofer Electric is in full swing, so I am a full time Special Education administrator, a mommy to two wonderful boys, and a part-time secretary to my sweet hubby. The blog has suffered due to the craziness of our lives at the moment, but I hope to get back on track. Thanks to those of you who care so much about us to visit our blog.

Trick or Treat

Hope everyone had a fabulous Halloween! We had a great time. We started the week with a Halloween birthday party for Brenley at Caleb's school, then trick-or-treating in the park, next dressing up for school, and finally going to our church carnival and off for more trick-0r-treating. It was a fun, but hectic week. Bob and Larry were a hit on Halloween. I think the costumes are cute seperate, but even cuter together!
Caleb was jumping away at his friend's birthday party. Our pumpkin Trevor and Caleb trick-or-treating in the park.

Going into the church for a fun carnival.

Dancing to the music.

Caleb got a little clown painted on his face, while Trevor had a smiley face painted on his cheek.

Farmer mommy and Trevor the tomato.

We caught up with Baylie(Dorothy), one of Trevor and Caleb's friends at Miss Debby's.

Trevor figured out Daddy had all the candy!

Trevor was soooo sleepy. He just started leaning against my leg and falling asleep!

Caleb getting to trick-or-treat in the neighborhood.

Happy Halloween!
