Going by so fast

I can't believe how time is flying with three kiddos, but it seems like every day I look up and it's time to cook dinner before I know it. I am trying to catch up on my blogging, so here goes! Caleb and Trevor fighting over the bike and daddy intervenes just in time to make them happy again!
I took all three boys to Incredible Pizza with my friend Kellie and her two little ones. She had her baby Jake two days before I had Luke, and Baylie is Caleb and Trevor's good friend from the past 3-4 years. Below Luke is nice and snuggly in his sling.

Caleb and Trevor are such boys! The first thing they go for are the guns.

Here the boys are with Baylie. They adore her...who wouldn't? She is such a sweetie.

Grandma and Grandpa got a karaoke machine and Caleb was helping Grandpa break it in. I can't tell who is enjoying it more!

Luke really started enjoying his bouncy seat. He loves staring at the little animals that hang from it.

Here Luke is talking to his animals. He loves the little cow that plays music. He has the cutest voice and is such a happy baby most of the time!

Baby Luke

I turned 30 last month...this is Mike and I before a night out!

Caleb and Trevor take turns entertaining Luke. This was Trevor's turn and Luke was talking up a storm to Trevor. Here Trevor is loving on his brother.

Talking to big brother.

Trevor loving every minute of it!

Luke loves sitting in his high chair. I think it makes him feel like a big boy and he can see everything from our level.

Trevor took this picture. I think it's funny how kids just love taking pictures, especially since they are digital and you get to see the finished product immediately. Luke loves his little swing. When he is really sleepy he will take a little nap in it.

We colored eggs the night before Easter. We were going to hide them outside, but since it rained all night we let the boys just eat them for breakfast!

Luke didn't get to color any eggs, but he got lots of lovin' from mommy!

The boys took their egg coloring very seriously. Caleb is very meticulous and Trevor just wants to have fun.

We visited Grandma and Grandpa's church for Easter service and a fun egg hunt. Caleb got a ton of eggs!

Our family

The boys....Trevor's silly grin cracks me up. The are so precious!

Lucas Joseph enjoying some swing time.

Luke FINALLY started enjoying baths after he turned two months old! Now he just lays there like King Tut and loves every second of it.

Our little cowboys on Western Day at the mother's day out program. They were adorable. They both love dressing up, so it was a ton of fun.

Caleb at one of his soccer games. The season just ended, and it was a great one. This was the first year that it was competitive and more interesting to watch. Caleb improved so much this past season and he just loves soccer. He wants to play every sport, but we'll see which one he sticks to.

Trevor already loves soccer himself even though he only plays in our back yard and on the sidelines during Caleb's games.

Cutie-pie Trevor playing with the camera.

Our growing baby!

Luke enjoyed his first cracker. Oh my gosh! It was so cute. He chomped down on his little baby mum-mum like his Daddy eating a big greasy hamburger!
I still can't believe I have three little boys. I never dreamed of having three, much less all boys! I couldn't be happier though! I know that I am blessed beyond measure. I wish I could just pause life right now where it is. Why does it have to go so fast? I just want to enjoy every moment, and laugh when Trevor says I want you for the thousandth time, or Caleb argues to wear shorts when it is 30 degrees outside. I know I will miss these times.

First month

What a first month it was! Lucas came home from the hospital when he was three days old. He was very healthy and had only lost a little weight at 7 lbs. 5 oz. He has a very sweet and patient nature. He likes to eat--just like the rest of the boys in my family. He was a non-stop eater his first month. He would wake every 2 to 3 hours and sometimes nurse for 2 to 3 hours. At his one month check up he weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz. After much deliberation and heart ache (because I wanted to nurse him exclusively) we decided to supplement formula to allow more time for me to give to Caleb and Trevor. Caleb and Trevor LOVE their little brother. Caleb wants to kiss him non-stop and Trevor wants to hold him and play with him. Having three boys has proved more challenging than two, but Caleb and Trevor entertain each other so much that I can't complain.
Here Luke is being weighed just after his birth. I love this picture. Our new little boy.

Trevor was so happy to meet baby Luke.

The excitement on Caleb's face gives me such joy.

My doc and Luke

This was right before we left the hospital. His outfit was so big on him!

We stopped by Grandma and Grandpa's on the way home and Luke slept in his car seat the whole way. Those were the days!

Caleb adores this little boy!

Dr. Dickey (the boys' pediatrician) and all the boys.

Caleb likes to hold Luke...even when nobody is looking (kind of scary).

The first official bath. Luke cried in every bath he took his first month!

Daddy sleeping with Luke. So sweet.

Luke playing on Mommy's lap.

We took the boys to the Fort Worth botannical garden. They loved running around and feeding the fish. It was a great time until we started to go home and realized we were broken down in Grandma's old van! We had to wait on Grandma and Grandpa and Brad to save us.

After Luke was a week or so old he decided to stop sleeping in his car seat for the most part. This was a special day though because he slept almost the entire time we were at the botannical garden in his car seat. We caught him smiling in his sleep/ His real smiles started coming around 4 and 1/2 weeks.

We know we are blessed to have three healthy beautiful boys. I won't lie...the first month was very hard. There were lots of ups and downs with post partum depression for me. Thank God I had lots of friends and family help me through it. I don't know what I would do without all of them, and without our God. Three boys is a challenge, but I think I'm up for it!
