Caleb recently had western day at his school. He is such a cute little cowboy, don't you think?

He had a great time, and now he wants to dress up ALL the time!

Trick or Treat

Hope everyone had a fabulous Halloween! We had a great time. We started the week with a Halloween birthday party for Brenley at Caleb's school, then trick-or-treating in the park, next dressing up for school, and finally going to our church carnival and off for more trick-0r-treating. It was a fun, but hectic week. Bob and Larry were a hit on Halloween. I think the costumes are cute seperate, but even cuter together!
Caleb was jumping away at his friend's birthday party. Our pumpkin Trevor and Caleb trick-or-treating in the park.

Going into the church for a fun carnival.

Dancing to the music.

Caleb got a little clown painted on his face, while Trevor had a smiley face painted on his cheek.

Farmer mommy and Trevor the tomato.

We caught up with Baylie(Dorothy), one of Trevor and Caleb's friends at Miss Debby's.

Trevor figured out Daddy had all the candy!

Trevor was soooo sleepy. He just started leaning against my leg and falling asleep!

Happy Halloween!

Pumkins and family fun

Well, it has been a long time since I've posted anything. Our camera got stolen last month, and it took a little while to replace it. We did go to San Antonio in mid September, but unfortunately those pictures are gone along with our camera. That's the saddest part for me. The boys loved the dolphins and Shamu. The riverwalk was a lot of fun too! Since then we've been so busy and so I'm finally sitting down to play catch up. Michael had his 27th birthday on the 14th that was celebrated by spending time with family and a nice kid free dinner. My brother Dustin also turned 30 in September which we celebrated at his new house in Forney (We are so glad he and Misty are a little closer to us). Other than that, we've tried to spend as much quality time together as possible! Caleb, Trevor, and Ava give big hugs at Grandma and Grandpa's for Daddy's birthday. We sat outside and enjoyed the beginning of the nicer fall weather.
Our newest neice/cousin Elizabeth was being passed from family member to family member. We all know how fast she is going to grow, so we have to hold her as much as we can now. Isn't she adorable?

The kiddos enjoyed playing with Grandpa's new dogs.

We went home and spent some playtime in the backyard with the boys.

Caleb and Daddy trying to catch bugs. Such a boy thing!

Bob and Larry with Grandpa. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's again after the fall festival at their church. The boys can't get enough of their grandparents.

Last Saturday I took Caleb and Trevor to the Pumpkin Express in Argyle. We got to ride on a little train and enjoy the pumkin patch.

I decided to try to get a few shots of the boys in their costumes, but Trevor was tired all he did was stare into space and suck on his lollipop. Caleb had a blast running around and picking up pumpkins.

Here is Trevor (Bob) and his lollipop. I just love the hat/stem.

The boys climbed up on all the hay to play and take pictures.

The boys hugging with their costumes on.

Later that same day Caleb was put in time-out. Trevor decided to join his brother, and I thought this picture was priceless. We sure know how to punish our kids!

On Wednesday we went to the Arboretum with our friends Rhett and Rebecca and their little boy Fielder. It was nice to take the day off and spend time with the boys. We got a lot of cute pumpkin pictures and the boys had a wonderful time playing together.

Fielder and Caleb on the fountain frog. They kept sticking their hands in the water so everyone would get sprayed.

They loved that frog!

One of the few shots we got of the boys together. It's difficult getting them both to cooperate with the camera at the same time!

I sure love my Caleb!

We've had a great couple of months. Trevor is starting to talk up a storm. He says cracker, thank you, more, milk, mac and cheese, no, stop, bye, ball, water and much more. Notice many of the words have to do with food. He will definitely communicate when he wants to! He loves running around doing whatever his big brother is doing at the time. He is very loving and sweet!
Caleb goes to pre-school two days a week. He is really flourishing being with children his age. All of his teachers say he is very shy. At least he is at first. Once he warms up to someone they can't get him to stop talking. He has been writing his name very legibly consistently. He is recognizing words that start with the same sounds. He is starting to add and subtract. I believe he will be reading before we know it. He loves to make people laugh and is very fun-loving.

Growing up

Well, it seems August flew by, a new school year has started, and our two little boys are growing up SO FAST! It is amazing to go back and look at Caleb's baby pictures and see how much he has changed. We are already able to do that with Trevor's infant pictures as well.
We had a great summer. It always makes me so sad to go back to work, but the boys love Miss Debby and I have a job that I actually like, so it's not so bad.
Trevor and Caleb are getting to the point where they can really play together. It 's great because they chase each other around, roll cars around to each other, play ball, and just entertain each other. I have to keep a very close eye on them though, because before you know it Caleb has pushed Trevor down or Trevor is trying to steal Caleb's toy. It still is a lot of fun to see them together no matter what.
Here are some pictures of the last month (maybe now that we are back in a routine I will get better at posting again). We rode our bikes every chance we got. Besides, swimming that was Caleb's favorite summer activity. It was fun, but very hot!
While Grandma and Grandpa were out of town we stayed at their house, fed the dogs and played lots of piano. The boys would wake up in the morning and play a song for Mommy.

Caleb is trying to teach Trevor how to play.

As you can see, Trevor LOVES the piano.

We took the boys to the circus for the first time. It was a neat experience, but the entire family was tired so it wasn't the best adventure. Here are the boys. Even though you can't tell by the looks of their faces, it was quite entertaining.

Trevor loved the little hat that came with the cotton candy.

Caleb just loved the cotton candy! He ate almost the entire bag by himself, until Trevor caught a glimpse of it.

Trevor FINALLY got a haircut! It was so hard to give him the first official cut because I knew he would look so much bigger. I actually like it a lot. Michael wanted to keep letting it grow like a skater kid, but he was looking a bit shaggy.

Caleb and Trevor love the outdoors. If we are having a bad day or one of the boys is cranky, all we have to do is go outside and everything immediately gets better. I just wish it was a little bit cooler.

The boys love to eat dinner together every night. They make each other laugh endlessly.

Caleb loves his pizza.

Here is another picture of Trevor right after his haircut. Isn't he adorable?

Of course, the sandbox is always a hit with boys. I wish I had gotten the stand up one, but I think with boys they'd rather get right in the middle of all the dirt anyway!

Caleb drives the dump truck right over Trevor's back. Trevor doesn't mind as long as his big brother is playing with him.
The water hose is always nice to use after being in the sand box. Caleb likes to chase Trevor around with it, while Trevor runs and giggles the whole way.

We recently got together at Grandma and Grandpa's with cousin Ava and Uncle Adam. It's always a fun time when Caleb and Ava get to play together. Caleb gets a ride on Grandpa's back below.
Ava was so brave jumping off the diving board. Once she started, she just couldn't stop!
Caleb and Ava took a break to say CHEESE.

It was Caleb's turn to fly through the air. He was having a blast.

Trevor likes the water so much more now than he did at the beginning of the summer. He either likes to cling to the nearest person, or wants to try to brave the water on his own.

After the swimming fun we all went to Chuck E. Cheese for good times with the kids.

Everyone had fun.

Trevor and Caleb are banging on the drums we got from Panama. We are thinking of starting our own band.

Our two boys make life full and happy. We thank God for them everyday.
